Police Have Found Children Separated During TNI Anniversary At Monas

JAKARTA - Central Jakarta Metro Police officers have managed to find a number of children who were separated from their families during the celebration of the TNI's 80th Anniversary in the Monas area, Central Jakarta, Sunday, October 5.

The child was found safe and returned to their respective parents at the Monas Horse Statue sub-sector Pol, which functions as a complaint post and public service.

One of them is a boy named Dilan (7) who was finally able to meet his mother, Dian, a resident of Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. Dilan was lost during the concert and was found by officers some time later.

"I panicked very much because I lost Dilan, but thank God the police helped quickly. I am very grateful to all the officers," said Dian with teary eyes while hugging her child.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Pol Susatyo Purnomo Condro, said that securing big events like this is not only a matter of maintaining order but also protecting and serving the community as a whole.

"We understand the panic feelings of parents when they lose their children. The police are present in the community not only to maintain order, but also to provide a sense of security and humanity," explained Susatyo.

He added that the police remained on full alert during the event and were ready to help people in need.

"We urge all parents and visitors to always supervise their children. If anyone feels they have lost a family member, please come directly to the Horse Statue Sub-Sector Police so that we can help immediately," he continued.

Until noon, officers had managed to find and repatriate several children who were separated from their parents. All processes went smoothly thanks to rapid coordination in the field and the alertness of personnel.

This incident serves as a reminder for the whole community to be more vigilant and take care of family members, especially children, when in the crowd.
