Basarnas recorded 26 students who died and were successfully evacuated from the collapse of the Al-Khoziny Islamic Boarding School building, Buduran, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java, until Saturday, October 4 evening.
Basarnas Operations Director Yudhi Bramantyo in a statement received in Jakarta, early Sunday, said that of these, 21 bodies could not be identified.
"Until now, a total of 130 victims were found, consisting of 104 survivors and 26 deaths," he said as SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, October 5.
According to him, the search process was carried out with a full 24-hour pattern and on Saturday night the joint SAR team evacuated again as many as 12 victims from the ruins of the Islamic boarding school building.
A team from the Basarnas emergency post at the scene reported that the 31st victim or the fourth body found that day was successfully evacuated from the A1 sector at 21.15 WIB. After that, three other bodies were found close to the A3 sector at around 22.00 WIB.
