Starting Tomorrow, Travelers No Longer Need SIKM Jakarta

JAKARTA - Head of the Transportation Office of DKI Syafrin Liputo said today is the last day of the use of permits in and out (SIKM) as a condition of travel.

"Until now we are still guided by existing regulations, Circular Letter No. 13 and its addendum from the Task Force, also Permenhub 13 which for SIKM is valid for arrangements until today at 24.00 WIB," syafrin said when contacted, Monday, May 17.

Starting tomorrow, travelers who will go in and out of cross-region no longer need to apply for the manufacture of SIKM. Because, SIKM is only valid during the homecoming ban period from May 6 to 17.

"After that, based on regulation, automatic sikm is no longer needed," he said.

However, Dishub together with the ranks of the Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya will still conduct backflow blocking after Eid al-Fitr at Cikampek Toll Road km 34.

Syafrin claimed the sealing by the combined team was quite effective in controlling the returnees. Because, police in a number of provinces will attach stickers for vehicles whose passengers have COVID-19 free letters.

"As soon as the automatic goods vehicle passes, but the private vehicle will be checked if it already has stickers issued by the police, ranging from East Java, West Java, DIY, and Banten also issued," said Syafrin.

"If there is already a sticker, then automatically he has been checked at the previous sealing post, so that the concerned can cross," he added.

However, if any vehicle is found to have not affixed a sticker during sealing, the passengers inside will be carried out an antigen test. If there are passengers who are reactive to COVID-19 they will be immediately taken to Wisma Atlet Kemayoran.

"For those who carry out the rapid test, then it turns out reactive, then all these passengers are obliged to carry out a PCR swab. They are directly sent to Wisma Atlet Kemayoran to be done PCR, all passengers," said Syafrin.

The COVID-19 reactive passengers were taken to RSD COVID-19 Wisma Atlet using a school bus. Dishub prepares buses in Keduwaringin for motorists and Cikampek Toll Road km 34 for motorists.
