COVID-19 Cases In West Java Go Crazy, Bima Arya Invites All Parties To Prevent Transmission

JAKARTA - West Java province is leading the new case of COVID-19 aka the highest corona case in the area led by Ridwan Kamil today, compared to other regions.

As for the cases in West Java today 1,361 cases and a total of 298,665 cases. Followed by Central Java which has 673 new cases with a total of 190,623 cases. DKI Jakarta has 421 new cases and a total of 419,629 cases. Then, Riau has 317 new cases and a total of 51,990 cases.

The Mayor of Bogor Bima Arya invited all elements to socialize the prevention of COVID-19. Considering COVID-19 is still spreading.

This was conveyed by Bima Arya in a virtual bihalal halal activity attended by a very limited invitation with the aim of inviting all parties to socialize covid-19 prevention.

"This year is prohibited from organizing halal bihalal activities because it can cause crowds. So this activity is done virtually," said The Mayor of Bogor Bima Arya, after a virtual bihalal halal activity at Bogor City Hall, reported by Antara, Monday, May 17.

According to Bima Arya, the invited guests who attended were very limited, only forkopimda and representatives of scholars, while other invitations were present virtually through zoom meeting.

Bima Arya explained that through this activity he invited all parties to build togetherness and communication, in order to strengthen the commitment in efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Bogor City.

"Our struggle is still long because the COVID-19 pandemic is not over. I asked for advice from the scholars as well as inviting the scholars to jointly socialize all the biases of the Bogor City Government related to the prevention of COVID-19, so that citizens can understand well," he said.

Bima explained that the Bogor City Government has published many policies for the prevention and handling of COVID-19, but many are misinterpreted by residents.

"I published a policy on the prevention of COVID-19 aimed at protecting citizens from the transmission of COVID-19, but it was misinterpreted," he said.

Bima illustrates, like people want to go through the road on the bridge that will collapse, constantly reminded not to walk on the bridge so as not to be wretched. "The intention is to protect citizens, not to ban, but to misinterpret citizens," he said.

Therefore, bima said, he invited all parties, including ulama and umara, to jointly build communication to strengthen commitment in efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Bogor City.

"I invite the ulama and umara to jointly socialize the prevention of COVID-19 in order to be well understood by the citizens. This socialization needs to be strengthened by the advice of the scholars," he said.
