TANGERANG - The Tangerang Regency Health Office (Dinkes), Banten, said that as many as 63 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) serving the Free Nutrition Food Program (MBG) had not yet obtained a Higienic and Sanitation Feasibility Certificate (SLHS).
"Yes, everything is not yet, we have 63 SPPGs, that's also not only in Tangerang Regency," said Tangerang District Health Office Head Hendra Tarmizi in Tangerang, Antara, Thursday, October 2.
Although not yet certified, all SPPGs continue to operate in the provision of the MBG menu. The Health Office is now encouraging providers to immediately take care of SLHS as a form of preventing the risk of food poisoning.
"There hasn't been (SLHS) since the beginning. Now we are calling them because there are cases of poisoning in other areas," said Hendra.
According to Hendra, the SLHS issuance process is ongoing. The providers are completing the administrative requirements before entering the field verification stage.
Verification includes checking the condition of the SPPG kitchen, starting from storing foodstuffs, cooling facilities, to processing and distribution procedures.
"Indicators who are a measure of feasibility include places to store foodstuffs, air conditioning, and food processing procedures," he explained.
In addition, the Health Office will also take food samples to be examined at the Regional Health Laboratory (Labkesda).
