KPK Opportunity To Call Atalia Ridwan Kamil's Wife Regarding Bank BJB Corruption

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has the opportunity to summon anyone who is suspected of knowing the flow of non-budget funds from the procurement of advertisements for PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten Tbk or Bank BJB (BJBR). The wife of the former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, Atalia Praratya is no exception.

KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said that Atalia's statement could be needed by investigators to reveal allegations of corruption in the procurement of advertisements that are being investigated.

"If later there are needs to call other witnesses, of course it will be done," Budi told reporters quoted on Monday, September 29.

For information, investigators have summoned a number of parties suspected of knowing the flow of non-budget funds from Bank BJB. Among them are celebrity Lisa Mariana who is reported to have been close to Ridwan Kamil and the son of the 3rd President of the Republic of Indonesia B. J. Habibie, Ilham Akbar Habibie or Ilham Habibie.

The summons for Ilham Habibie was related to the Mercedes Benz 280 SL that Ridwan Kamil bought. The vehicle is known to have been paid by the Golkar Party politician for only half of it.

The anti-corruption commission confiscated the car and is still in the workshop because it is still being restored.

Returning to Budi, he said, all the information that had been given by the witness in this case would be analyzed. "It's still in process," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK has named five suspects in connection with allegations of corruption in the procurement of advertisements at PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten Tbk or Bank BJB (BJBR).

They are former President Director of Bank BJB Yuddy Renaldi; Head of Bank BJB Corporate Secretary Division Widi Hartoto; Agency Controller Antedja Muliatama and Cakrawala Kreasi Mandiri Kin Asikin Dulmanan; Agency Controller BSC Advertising and PT Wahana Semesta Bandung Ekspres (WSBE) Suhendrik; and Controller of PT Cipta Karya Sukses Bersama (CKSB) and PT Cipta Karya Mandiri Bersama (CKMB) Raden Sophan Jaya Kusuma.

This case investigation warrant (sprindik) was issued on February 27, 2025. The actions of the five suspects are suspected of having caused the state to lose up to Rp22 billion.

Currently, the detention has not been carried out on five suspects. However, they have been prevented from traveling abroad for six months and can be extended according to the needs of the investigation.

Then, investigators have also conducted a search to collect evidence. The house of former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil was also visited by investigators who led to the confiscation of a Royal Enfield motorbike.
