Dubai To Have The World's Highest Infinity Pool, Opened Next Month

JAKARTA - Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) will add a new world record to its collection as the highest infinity pool opens next month.

The Saturday Sky Pool will be 310 meters above ground, past the current record holder at the nearby Address Beach Resort, which has a height of 294 meters, and has been certified by Guinness World Records in 2021.

Tattu Sky Pool will be located on the 76th floor of Ciel Dubai Marina, which will also be the highest hotel in the world when it opens later this year.

The swimming pool will also feature a luxurious 50 daybed next to a Japanese restaurant with a fusion menu designed to eat by the pool.

This swimming pool is part of the Dubai Tattu, the first international branch of a well-known restaurant in Manchester. The swimming pool is managed by two brothers, Adam and Drew Jones, through their Permanently Unique Group operating a number of restaurants in the UK.

Tattu Dubai will occupy three floors of Ciel Dubai Marina with restaurants and main bars on the 74th floor, Tattu Sky Pool on the 76th floor, and Tattu Sky Lounge and Terrace on the 81st floor. Sky lounge and this terrace will feature 360 degrees open space which will be the "highest open air-conditioning space in the world," said Permanently Unique Group, quoted from The National September 25.

The restaurant is currently offering a limited launch preview for its facilities to guests between September 29 and October 8, ahead of its official opening on October 10. Although the official opening date of Ciel Dubai Marina has not been announced, reservations are available for stay starting November 15.

Meanwhile, the Tattu Restaurant and Bar, which has a capacity of 170 seats, was inspired by Chinese and Japanese mythology with a menu featuring Asian dishes ranging from koi fish dumplings and salt paste and pepper, to red pepper Wagyu peppers with lotus roots and wasabi lobsters.

The Tattu Sky Lounge & Terrace menu will be inspired by Dubai's history as a trading post. Guests can enjoy the afternoon tea service, a sunset cocktail with dishes from the chef and at night this place will turn into a club with selected music and live DJ sets.

Ciel Dubai Marina, which was originally scheduled to open last year, will have 82 floors and 1,004 rooms. This will surpass the world's highest hotel today, Gevora Hotel as high as 356 meters located along Jalan Sheikh Zayed Dubai.

Ciel will be managed by The First Group Hospitality under the brand Vignette Collection, which is owned by the JCI Hotels & Resorts.
