Support MBG Program, APMAKI Ready To Supply Domestic Food Tray Production

JAKARTA The Indonesian Food Forum Producers Association (APMAKI) expressed its appreciation to President Prabowo Subianto and the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) for the decision to determine food route products from within the country to support the Free Nutrition Food Program (MBG). APMAKI considers this step as clear evidence of the government's alignment with local industries.

"We from APMAKI would like to express our deepest gratitude to President Prabowo and BGN for their trust in establishing domestic food containers to support the MBG program. We are proud to be part of the government's efforts to improve the nutritional quality of the Indonesian people," said APMAKI coach Kiai Eman Suryaman, in his statement Friday, September.

The press conference was also attended by APMAKI General Chair Alie Cendrawan, Suandi Development Division Chair, Deputy Secretary General Yongki, Deputy Public Relations Eiko Sihombing, and members of the association.

Kiai Eman emphasized that APMAKI is ready to work optimally to provide healthy, clean, and quality food containers for the MBG program. According to him, the contribution of APMAKI in this program is in line with efforts to realize a superior, quality, and integrity generation.

"With this determination, APMAKI is committed to continuing to improve production quality and support government programs in increasing awareness of nutrition and public health," he said.

He also said that BGN's policy had a positive impact on local industries, including micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Therefore, APMAKI encourages all members to work responsibly for the success of the MBG program.

"We hope this collaboration will provide great benefits, both for MSME players and the community, because it can create new jobs and improve the quality of life of beneficiaries," said Kiai Eman.

Meanwhile, Deputy Head of BGN Nanik S. Deyan emphasized that every new nutritional fulfillment service unit (SPPG) is required to use a domestically produced food route as a condition for registering the MBG program.

"We are obliged to use domestic turnover, showing where he bought it," said Nanik.

He explained that this rule applies to new SPPGs that are not yet operating. In addition to having local products, food containers are also required to meet quality standards so that they are not easily paralyzed, including the provisions of nickel content.

The MBG program requires the use of food containers from domestic products according to food safety standards, such as SNI 9369.2:2025, and halal certification. This policy is expected not only to ensure food security, but also strengthen local industries.
