Regent Hands Over 3 Mini Fire Units For 3 Villages In Bulungan

TANJUNG SELOR Efforts to strengthen preparedness for forest, land, and residential fires, the Bulungan Regency Government has again distributed aid for three-wheeled fire vehicles.

The three mini firefighters were officially handed over directly by the Regent of Bulungan, Syarwani, to three villages, namely Antutan Village, Teras Nawang, and Binai, at the Bulungan Fire Headquarters, Wednesday, September 24.

This mini-firer is equipped with water shots up to 20 meters long, 100 meters long hose, and protective helmets for officers in the field. This facility is expected to be able to support the effectiveness of handling fires at the village level.

The Regent emphasized that the assistance should really be utilized optimally for the benefit of the community.

"This mini-damkar should not only be used when there is a house fire, but can also help overcome the potential for forest and land fires that occur almost every year. I hope this tool can protect the public from greater losses," said Syarwani.

The Regent also advised each village to appoint one special person who is responsible for operating the vehicle. According to him, this is important so that the equipment can be treated properly and has a longer lifespan.

"If there are too many who hold them, usually they are damaged quickly. So it's better if there is one operator who fully controls how to use and care for them," he continued.

With this mini firefighter, Syarwani hopes that the recipient villages will be more prepared in dealing with emergency situations, as well as providing a sense of security for the community.

"I entrust it, please protect it, please help with activities, so that later this will also serve our residents in the village, respectively," he said.
