National Police Chief Forms Police Reform Transformation Team, Involve 52 Pati And Pamen

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo formed a Police Reform Transformation team as a step to ensure institutional accountability.

The formation of the team was stated through a Order (Sprin) numbered Sprin/2749/IX/TUK.2.1/2025 signed by the National Police Chief on September 17, 2025.

Trunoyudo said this order was a follow-up to the National Police in managing institutional transformation by collaborating with the government and relevant stakeholders through a systematic approach.

"Institutional transformation is to achieve the process and objectives of accelerating the transformation of the Police in accordance with the expectations of the community," he said.

He said that the process and objectives of this institutional reform are fundamental and broad in nature that involves all work and regional units based on the strategic vision of the National Police or the 2025 Police Grand Strategy 2025 2045.

In total there are 52 high and middle officers who are in the reform team. National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo acted as a protector, while Deputy Chief of Police Komjen Pol. Dedi Prasetyo as an advisor.

The high-ranking officer (Pati) who was appointed as team leader was the Kalemdiklat Polri Komjen Pol. Chryshnanda Dwilaksana.

Previously, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto appointed General (HOR) Ahmad Dofiri as Special Advisor to the President for Public Security and Order and Police Reform.

The appointment of Dofiri as an advisor is in line with President Prabowo Subianto, who is preparing a Presidential Decree (Keppres) related to the formation of the Police Reform Commission.

Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi said the background for the formation of the team was aimed at evaluating and improving performance and services in police institutions.

"The President's wish is of course that we all really love the police institution, but there are several things that may need to be improved, evaluated, and that is normal for all institutions according to the President's direction to strengthen the professionalism of the Police," he said.
