The Case Of Prada Lucky's Death Was Transferred To The Military Oditur

JAKARTA - Pangdam IX/Udayana Major General TNI Piek Budyakto stated that the handling of the alleged abuse case that resulted in Prada Lucky Saputra Namo's death while serving in the 834 Development Territorial Battalion (TP) Waka Nga Mere Nagekeo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) continued.

"Currently, the process has been transferred to the military oditur, so the Military Oditur will follow up on the next mechanism," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, September 19.

Major General TNI Piek Budyakto also explained that the suspects suspected of being involved in the case had been transferred to the Military Oditur (Otmil).

"We have submitted it to the Military Oditur, please ask the media for developments," he said.

Reflecting on the case, he appealed to TNI soldiers to maintain discipline and professionalism so as not to commit violations.

"This is the attention of the leadership, we expect all members to maintain discipline so that all violations in any form do not occur, especially in the Kodam IX/Udayana area," he said.

Previously, the Military Police Commander of Kodam IX/Udayana Colonel CPM Dwi Indra Wirawan said the number of suspects in the case of mistreatment of Prada Lucky Saputra Namo had increased.

"So previously it was released some time ago we said there were 20 suspects, now there are 22 suspects," he said.

He conveyed this when delivering a press conference regarding the transfer of case files and evidence and suspects to the Kupang Military Oditurat III-14.

He said the increase in suspects was after going through the examination of witnesses by looking at the available evidence so that investigators made additional suspects.

"So that to this day we have submitted 22 people to the Military Oditurat," he said.

He mentioned that of the 22 suspects, there were also elements of the leadership who according to investigators were in accordance with the actions that were violated to fulfill the elements of criminal acts.

"So we included two additional elements of this leadership in the case file," he said.
