"The one in the house (near the stall that was hit) was a child victim, his head was injured. He was taken to the hospital," said Mirna at the location.

In addition, victims of the Transjakarta bus accident due to failed brakes also targeted kiosks and residents' houses. Meanwhile, it is certain that there are no victims from pedestrians.

"If the victim doesn't walk, at least the house that was hit will be destroyed," he said.

Mirna said that at the time of the incident, Transjakarta was carrying passengers.

"Transjakarta in it there are several passengers. The driver was only injured in his hands," he said.

Previously, the Transjakarta bus accident that occurred in the Cakung area, East Jakarta, had shocked local residents on Friday, September 19, 2025, morning.

According to Wahyu Wahono, a local resident, he learned about the incident at around 05.00 WIB in the morning.

"Initially there were many residents, some said (Transjakarta) the brakes failed. Residents were still traumatized at the hospital because they were injured," Wahyu told reporters at the location.

As a result of the accident, as many as 4 kiosks were destroyed after being hit by a bus that was driving quite fast.

"The material loss is not yet known. There are about 4 houses and places of business. Thank God the injured victims have been taken to the hospital," he said.

Wahyu confirmed that there were no casualties as a result of the Transjakarta bus accident in his area.
