The National Police Emphasizes The Synergy Of Officials, Governments, And The Community To Maintain Social Harmony

The Indonesian National Police emphasized its commitment to maintaining security and social harmony as an effort to strengthen national unity. The Head of the Intelligence and Security Agency (Kabaintelkam) of the National Police, Komjen Pol Akhmad Wiyagus, emphasized that the National Police not only plays a role in maintaining security stability, but also maintaining inter-religious harmony with all elements of society.

This message was conveyed by Komjen Pol Akhmad Wiyagus while attending the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad SAW's birthday in Tasikmalaya City, Thursday, September 18. The event which was held at Imah Cigeureung, Nagararasari Village, Cipedes District was attended by around 150 participants from various circles, including religious leaders, community organizations, and Forkopimda Tasikmalaya City.

Police have an important role in maintaining inter-religious harmony. Through synergy with the government and society, we can strengthen unity for the sake of the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia," he said.

Present at the event were a number of important figures, including the Chairperson of the Tasikmalaya Asum City DPRD, the Deputy Head of the Tasikmalaya City Police, Kompol Wahyu Maduransyah Saputra, and military officials Lt. Col. Inf. Roihan Hidayatullah and Colonel Kal Yossi Dirwansyah. Cross-institutional synergy was also seen from the presence of the Head of the Tasikmalaya District Attorney's Office, the Chairman of the District Court, the Chairman of the Religious Court, and representatives of Yon D Por Sat Brimob West Java Police.

The activity which took place from 18.00 WIB to 20.00 WIB was led by the Chairperson of the MUI Tasikmalaya City KH. Aminudin Bustomi. He emphasized that the Prophet's birthday was not only a religious ceremony, but also a momentum to strengthen the values of togetherness.

The Mayor of Tasikmalaya, Viman Alfarizi Ramadhan, also expressed his appreciation for the synergy that was built in this commemoration. This activity is a symbol of unity, as well as maintaining a religious tradition that strengthens community togetherness," he said.

The event was also marked by the presence of East Priangan Islamic figures, such as the Chairman of the Ciamis Regency MUI KH Saeful Ujun, the Head of the Tasikmalaya City FPP KH Nono Nurul Hidayah, the Chairperson of the Tasikmalaya City PD PUI Agus Setiawan, the Head of the Tasikmalaya City PD Persis, Arig Rahman Hakim, and the Head of the Ciamis Regency NU KH Arif Ismail Chawas.

The leaders of Islamic boarding schools, religious scholars, and various Islamic organizations throughout Tasikmalaya were also present to enliven the event which was full of ukhuwah values. The participants hope that the commemoration of Maulid can further strengthen the brotherhood of Muslims while strengthening harmonious relations with all elements of the nation.
