Household Ribut, Residents Burn Rented Houses At The DPR Complex, 1 Person Injured

JAKARTA - Because of a household quarrel, a resident was desperate to burn a 3x6 meter rented house in the DPR RI Milling Complex area, Jalan Borobudur Kapling Tanah Merah, RT 06/05, Jatinegara Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta, Thursday, September 18, 2025.

The fire continued to grow until it was difficult to extinguish it. Meanwhile, other residents then reported to the fire department to assist in the evacuation of the fire extinguishing at around 08.32 WIB.

The process of extinguishing the fire began at 08.37 WIB. The fire was extinguished at 08.51 WIB.

In this incident, a resident named Siti Nurkalisah (33) suffered burns. Meanwhile, 5 other people were successfully evacuated safely.

"The fire has been extinguished, the object of the burning of Yanti's rented house (38). The victim suffered a loss of Rp. 15 million due to the fire," said Firefighters when confirmed, Thursday, September 18, 2025.

The house is a rented plot inhabited by a family.

"The information is that the cause of the fire was a household fight. So it was deliberately burned because of a family fight," he said.

Currently, the fire has been extinguished. Meanwhile, the fire victims were taken to Pondok Kopi Islamic Hospital for medical treatment.
