JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra admitted that he had not heard about President Prabowo Subianto who had prepared a replacement name for National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

The regulation states that the president has the authority to replace the National Police Chief by submitting the name of the new National Police Chief candidate to the House of Representatives (DPR).
After the DPR approves, said Yusril, the new president will inaugurate the new National Police Chief.
"Of course the president usually gives one name or two names," he said.
