Inaugurated As Coordinating Minister For Political, Legal And Security Affairs At The Age Of 76, Djamari Chaniago Turns Out To Have Fired Prabowo

JAKARTA - Lieutenant General TNI (Ret.) Djamari Chaniago was officially inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto as Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs (Menko Polkam) on Wednesday, September 17, replacing Budi Gunawan.

This inauguration is part of the cabinet reshuffle volume III which was announced at the State Palace.

The former Wakasad revealed the PR and messages conveyed by President Prabowo before his appointment.

He said President Prabowo invited himself to devote himself to the Indonesian nation at the age of 76 years.

Djamari also admitted that his relationship with the former Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Ad Interim Sjafrie sjamsoeddin was well established.

After the inauguration, Djamari will go directly to the office of the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs so that they can immediately communicate with employees of their ministry to develop priority programs.

It is known that Djamari and Prabowo's relationship was in the public spotlight because Djamari was a member of the Honorary Officer Council (DKP) in 1998.

DKP is a council formed to examine Prabowo Subianto's alleged involvement in the 1998 activist kidnapping operation.
