JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has again applied a special tariff of Rp1 for public transportation services owned by DKI, namely Transjakarta, Jakarta LRT, and Jakarta MRT. This Rp1 tariff is applied on Wednesday, September 17 and Friday, September 19.
Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, said that the free tariff program was carried out to commemorate National Transportation Day 2025 which falls on September 17, 2025 and National Road Traffic and Transportation Safety Day on September 19, 2025.
"This program is valid for two days, on September 17, 2025 and September 19, 2025, starting at 00.00 to 23.59 WIB," Syafrin told reporters, Tuesday, September 16.
In Transjakarta services, tariffs of IDR 1 apply to almost all services, both from rapid transit bus (BRT), non-BRT, to Transjabodetabek services. This tariff does not apply to Royaltrans.
"During this period, passengers still need to tap in and tap out using an electronic card or application that is supported, but the balance cut is only Rp1," he said.
