Police Hold Reconstruction Of Women's Murder Case In Indramayu

CIREBON - Indramayu Resort Police (Polres) held a reconstruction of the murder case of a woman with the initials PA with the suspect AMS that occurred in a boarding house in Singajaya District, Indramayu, West Java, on August 9, 2025.

"We carried out the reconstruction of this case at the Indramayu Police Shooting Field today," said Head of the Indramayu Police Satreskrim AKP Muchammad Arwin Bachar in Indramayu, Friday.

He said the reconstruction was carried out, to clarify the chronology of the crime that caused the victim to die with severe burns.

Arwin explained that during the reconstruction, the police presented the suspect AMS and the process, followed by a team of investigators, public prosecutors from the Indramayu District Attorney's Office, and legal advisers. In addition, his party invited representatives of the victim's family to witness the reconstruction process to ensure the disclosure of the case investigation process.

"This reconstruction is important so that there is a common perception between the investigator and the public prosecutor regarding the series of events," he said.

He said there were 24 scenes that the suspect demonstrated in the reconstruction, namely describing from the beginning the AMS picked up the victim until the incident after the incident. According to him, the series of scenes also showed the location of the boarding houses where the crime occurred and the suspect's efforts to escape from the scene of the case.

The results of this reconstruction, he said, would be important material for the public prosecutor in compiling the indictment file. He ensured that the reconstruction process went smoothly, with strict security from the police around the location. In addition, his party guarantees that each stage of the investigation of this case is carried out according to procedures to strengthen the existing evidence.

"From the scene shown, we have got a clear picture of the chronology of the case," he said.

Previously, the Indramayu Police succeeded in uncovering the chronology of the case of the murder of a woman with the initials PA by a former police officer, Bripda AMS, who has now been named a suspect.

Indramayu Police Chief AKBP Mochamad Fajar Gemilang said the murder case was revealed after several boarding house residents smelled and saw black smoke from the victim's room. When the room door was opened, he said, the victim was found dead in a burning condition.

After receiving the report, his party immediately processed the crime scene (TKP) and an investigation which then led to AMS as the perpetrator and lover of the victim.

"After the incident, the suspect fled to outside the area before being arrested in Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) on August 23, 2025," he said.
