Eretan Boat Puller Who Disappeared Drowning In Cakung River Found Dead

The joint SAR team managed to find a man pulling a row boat named Slamet Rahardjo (23) dead in the Cakung Drainage River, Cilincing, North Jakarta, Friday, September 12, 2025, afternoon.

"The victim was found at a radius of 5 meters from the scene after the search was carried out using anchors around the scene," said Head of the Jakarta SAR Office as SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) in the SAR operation, Desiana Kartika Bahari when confirmed.

Furthermore, the victim's body was evacuated to the funeral home to be handed over to the family.

Efforts to search for victims have been carried out since Friday morning. Basarnas together with joint SAR elements conducted a search by sweeping using rubber boats up to a radius of 2 KM from the scene.

The search was also carried out visually along the banks of the Cakung Drain River up to a radius of 500 meters from the scene.

The personnel involved in the SAR operation include the Jakarta SAR Office, Cilincing Police, Cilincing Koramil, DKI Jakarta BPBD, North Jakarta Firefighters, the community and others.

Previously, it was reported that the joint SAR team continued the search for a man who drowned in the Cakung Drainage River, Cilincing, North Jakarta on Friday, September 12, 2025.

The search continued at 07.15 WIB, but the victim has not been found. The search for victims was carried out with 2 SRU teams.
