12 People Become Suspects Of Looting At Uya Kuya's House

East Jakarta Metro Police have named 12 people as suspects in the case of looting the house of a member of Commission IX of the DPR (unactive) Surya Uya Kuya in the Pondok Bambu area, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta.

"The 12 people we have named are suspects," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Alfian Nurrizal as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, September 6.

The 12 suspects have their respective roles in carrying out their actions, namely as provocateurs, perpetrators of looting and assaults on officers.

His party will continue to develop investigations into other perpetrators in the looting case.

Previously, the police named as many as six people as suspects in the case of looting Uya Kuya's house.

The six suspects have been declared their legal status after an intensive examination was carried out. Meanwhile, one person was only arrested on Wednesday (3/9) at around 11.00 WIB.

The looting case at Uya Kuya's house was in the public spotlight after the politician's residence was invaded by the masses.

A video circulated showing the residence of the artist and member of the DPR in the East Jakarta area was visited by the crowd, Saturday (30/8) night.

The mob managed to knock down the fence of Uya Kuya's house and immediately broke into the second floor to loot whatever was in the house.

There were voices of people shouting in the forest, "Dismantling" and house objects that broke out.

Uya Kuya had clarified the dance action at the MPR/DPR building along with the announcement of an increase in DPR RI allowances, including home allowances of Rp. 50 million every month.

According to Uya Kuya, in her clarification, dancing has nothing to do with the increase in DPR allowances. They dance only to follow the rhythm of the song for the purpose of respecting the musicians who appear.
