JAKARTA Hundreds of residents from street vendors, online motorcycle taxi drivers, students, and community leaders gathered at the Baba Alun Mosque Complex, Lake Ring, North Jakarta, Thursday, September 4, 2025.
They held a joint prayer for the safety of the nation as well as declared Panca Bhava Pratijna Kawulo Alit Indonesian Small People.
The event was initiated by the Association of Indonesian Street Vendors of Struggle (APKLI-P).
The General Chairperson of APKLI-P, dr. Ali Mahsun ATMO, M. Biomed, said that the small people are ready to fully support President Prabowo Subianto's steps in taking firm action against the perpetrators of treason, riots, corruption, and the nation's wealth mafia.
"We face threats from within the country itself. Small people must not be silent. We must be with the President," said Ali Mahsun in a written statement received by VOI, Friday, September 5.
The declaration resulted in five attitudes of the underprivileged, ranging from wanting to live in peace, working safely, rejecting provocations, to supporting the President's move against the Indonesian wealth mafia.
