Normal Activity, Pramono Revokes WFH Policy For DKI Jakarta ASN

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo instructed all agencies within the scope of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) to revoke the work from home (WFH) policy.

According to him, the situation and activity in Jakarta are currently running normally again.

"I have given a message to the head of the relevant service for his instructions (WFH) it was revoked. Maximum today. Why? Because I see that the condition of the community is back to normal, all transportation has been running normally," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday, September 3.

Today, he also requested that all DKI Jakarta ASNs continue to carry out Governor's Instruction (Ingub) Number 6 of 2025 which requires them to use public transportation every Wednesday.

Moreover, the DKI Provincial Government has imposed a tariff of IDR 1 for public transportation between Transjakarta and MRT until September 8, 2025.

Previously, on August 28, Pramono approved that State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the DKI Province could implement a work from home (WFH) system, through Circular Number e-0021/SE/2025 signed by the Head of the Regional Civil Service Agency of the Province of Jakarta Chaidir.

The move was taken following demonstrations that took place at several points in Jakarta on Friday (29/8).

In the circular, it is stated that ASN employees who carry out official duties from home are required to report the presence/presence online twice, namely morning and evening.

However, the implementation of WFH is excluded for ASN regional apparatus that provides direct services to the community and cannot be implemented through digital media/applications.
