Burn His Girlfriend To Death And Flee Into The Forest, Arrested Threatened With Life Sentence

Dede perpetrators of the burning tehadap Indah Daniarti residents of Cidaun Subdistrict, Cianjur, West Java, arrested after fleeing into the forest in the area of Bandung / Antara

JAKARTA - Police managed to arrest Dede (32), a resident of Kertajadi Village, Kertajadi Village, Cidaun Subdistrict, Cianjur. Dede is the perpetrator of the burning of her lover Indah Daniarti (27) until her death.

Dede was arrested while hiding in his escape in the middle of a protected forest owned by Perhutani KPH Ciwidey, Bandung, West Java.

Cianjur AKBP Police Chief Mochamad Rifai, said that during the 10 days of disappearance, the perpetrator hid in the middle of the Perhutani-Ciwidey protected forest in order to escape the pursuit of officers who immediately pursued the perpetrators.

"Members went straight to the hut in the middle of the forest and managed to catch the perpetrator without a fight. The perpetrator was immediately sent to Mapolres Cianjur to be held accountable for his actions," he said.

From the hands of the perpetrators, officers managed to secure evidence such as jerry cans used in pertalite fuel, gas matches and mobile phones.

While undergoing the examination, Dede admitted his actions because he did not accept the decision of his love by the victim, so he planned the burning of the victim.

"Perpetrators will be ensnared by a layered article, article 340 subsider article 338 subsider article 355 paragraph (2) subsider article 354 paragraph (2) more subsider article 353 paragraph (3) more subsider article 351 paragraph (3) penal code with the threat of life imprisonment," said Rifai.

Meanwhile, the burning victim Indah Daniarti (27) of Kampung Bayuning, Karangwangi Village, Cidaun Subdistrict, who suffered 60 percent burns all over her body finally died, after 10 days of intensive care at RSHS Bandung.

The victim was in critical condition from entering the room until he was reported dead after the tenth day of treatment for burns.
