Police Arrest 1 Perpetrator Of Abuse Of Methamphetamine In Subang, 1 More Entering DPO

JAKARTA - The police have uncovered a case of circulating methamphetamine in urban areas of Subang Regency, West Java.

Subang Police Chief AKBP Dony Eko Wicaksono said that in the disclosure of the methamphetamine-type narcotics case, his party arrested a perpetrator with the initials EBP (32).

"The perpetrator was arrested at his home, on Jalan Raya Ahmad Yani, Gang Sunda, Pasirkareumbi Village, Subang District on Wednesday (27 August)," he said in Subang, Thursday, was confiscated by Antara.

During the arrest, the police conducted a search of the perpetrator's house, and found a number of evidences.

Among the evidence found, one package of methamphetamine weighing 10.11 grams, digital scales, and eight empty plastic clips were found. In addition, a cellphone used by the perpetrator for transactions was also found.

"The evidence found during the search was then confiscated for investigation purposes," he said.

In accordance with the interim examination, the perpetrator admitted that he obtained the item on the orders of a person with the initials W, who is now on the wanted list (DPO).

The police chief admitted that he would continue to develop this narcotics abuse case, to uncover allegations of drug trafficking networks.

"Of course we continue to develop this case, to uncover its circulating network," he said.

Meanwhile, to account for his actions, the perpetrator is now being held at the Subang Police Headquarters detention center.

The perpetrator is subject to Article 114 paragraph (2) junto Article 112 paragraph (2) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with the threat of life imprisonment, or imprisonment for a minimum of six years.
