Burning Tires, Throwing Firecrackers And Bottles, Mass Action In Front Of The DPR Building: Where Is Sahroni?

Masses burned tires and threw bottles at officers at the MPR/Nailin-VOI DPR Building

JAKARTA - At around 14.00 WIB the mass action from student elements began to visit the DPR building. A number of people threw firecrackers into the DPR building, and burned tires.

"We urge the protesters to express their aspirations and opinions in an orderly and conducive manner, not to destroy and carry out dangerous activities," the police appealed.

According to VOI monitoring, a student shouted the names of DPR members from the NasDem faction, Ahmad Sahroni.

It is known that Sahroni had issued a controversial statement by mentioning "toleol" when responding to calls for the disbandment of the DPR.

"Where is Sahroni?", shouted the crowd.

"Where are the members of the DPR!" they exclaimed again.

"Open the door, open the door right now," said another.

They continue to throw bottles into the DPR building which has been guarded by law enforcement officials.
