Police Prevent 120 Students From Cirebon To Indramayu To Join The Demonstration In Front Of The DPR

JAKARTA - A total of 120 students are still trying to get involved in the demonstration that took place in front of the DPR/MPR RI Building, today. They come from Cirebon to Indramayu.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said the efforts of the hundreds of students could be prevented in border areas.

"At least at 8.30 earlier there were 120 students who were blocked, prevented, guarded, protected. Why were these 120 students prevented? Because they wanted to move here, to the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly (DPR RI) building to participate in expressing opinions in the form of demonstrations", said Ade to reporters, Thursday, August 28.

Hundreds of students were prevented with details, 48 people in the jurisdiction of the Bekasi Regency Metro Police. From the results of the examination, they rang from Indramayu to Cirebon.

Then, the Tangerang City Metro Police prevented 11 students. They are from Serang, Banten

"The Bekasi City Metro Police has succeeded in protecting, preventing, protecting 29 students from Cirebon and Purwakarta," he said.

Ade continued, the Depok Metro Police prevented seven students, all of whom came from Depok. Then, the Central Jakarta Metro Police prevented 25 students from coming from Indramayu and Cianjur.

"Where did they get this information? They got information from social media, invitations or provocations from social media," said Ade.

For information, the previous demonstration or August 25 ended in chaos. This is because the masses, which are dominated by students, actually carry out attacks on the officers on guard.
