JAKARTA - Paris authorities, France, found the body of a man in the Seine River near an area on the outskirts of Paris where four other bodies were found earlier this month.

The Prosecutor's Office stated that no connection had been found between the newly found body and the previous case.

As reported by Reuters, an unidentified body was found on Tuesday in Charenton-le-Pont, southeast of the French capital, the local prosecutor's office said.

Officers are still trying to determine the cause of death.

French police previously detained a man earlier this week on suspicion of the murder of four men whose bodies were found on August 13 in Choisy-le-Roi, upstream of the Charenton-le-Pont river, in an area known as a place for same-sex sexual gatherings.

The homeless suspect, as well as two of the four victims. Another victim is a 21-year-old Algerian citizen who lives near the scene and a 48-year-old French national.
