JAKARTA - The Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs is grateful for the awarding of Mahaputera Zoo by President Prabowo Subianto, saying it is a mandate as well as an appreciation for the dedication of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Foreign Minister Sugiono was awarded the Mahaputera Utama Star by President Prabowo in an award at the State Palace, Monday.
Presidential Military Secretary Major General TNI Kosasih when reading the President's decision said the awarding of this award was based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia No. 73, 74, 75, 76, 77 and 78 of 2025 concerning the Awarding of Honorary Signs.
The Mahaputera Utama star was awarded to Foreign Minister Sugiono for his services in the field of international diplomacy, strengthening active free politics, expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation, and protecting the interests of Indonesian citizens abroad.
"It is an honor to receive the Mahaputera Utama Star from President Prabowo. This award is a mandate as well as a form of appreciation for the dedication of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in serving Indonesian diplomacy," he wrote on his Instagram account @menluri as quoted on August 25.
Meanwhile, in a separate upload on his Instagram account @Sugiono_56 he wrote, the sign of honor is a big mandate that reaffirms his responsibility as foreign minister.
"Hopefully we can work better in carrying out the strategic role of Indonesian diplomacy, strengthening and expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation and protecting every Indonesian citizen abroad," he wrote.

Next is Retno Lestari Priansari Marsudi, diplomat and foreign minister in the Working Cabinet and Advanced Indonesia Cabinet, awarded Mahaputera Adipurna Star for his services in international diplomacy through Indonesia's diplomatic leadership in the issue of Palestine, the Myanmar crisis and the issue of protecting Indonesian citizens abroad.
