UMMI Hospital Officials Call Rizieq Shihab's Health Has Been Reported To The Ministry Of Health

JAKARTA - Medical records officer of UMMI Bogor Hospital, Feni said Rizieq Shihab has been registered as a COVID-19 patient to the Ministry of Health online.

This was conveyed by Feni when testifying in the trial of the alleged results of the UMMI Hospital swab with defendants Rizieq Shihab, Hanif Alatas, and Andi Tatat.

Feni said this when Rizieq's lawyer questioned the Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) for reporting COVID-19 patient data at UMMI Hospital.

"Do you know about sop patient reports in UMMI Hospital, especially related to COVID patients?", Rizieq's lawyer asked in the trial, at East Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, May 11.

Thus, Feni mentioned knowing about SOP reporting COVID-19 patients. That said, there are two reporting systems.

"For COVID-19 patient reports, it consists of two, the first report to the Ministry of Health the name of the online hospital web. The second is a report to the Bogor City Health Office", Feni said.

"For reporting to the Bogor City Health Office it is only patients who are domiciled in the city of Bogor, while the ones to the Ministry of Health's web all patients go to UMMI Hospital both domiciled in Bogor City, non-Bogor City and Outside Bogor City", continued Feni.

Hearing that answer, Rizieq's lawyer also alluded to whether his client's data was reported or not.

"Is it also reported about the condition?", the lawyer asked.

"Reported", replied Feni.

"Since when?", the lawyer asked again.

"D+1, because COVID reporting is D+1. So that was reported today, which was yesterday's entry", said Feni

Furthermore, Rizieq's lawyers again detailed the question. Feni was asked to make sure Rizieq Shihab's name had been reported regarding his health which was called exposure to COVID-19.

"Does that mean it's reported?", asked the lawyer.

"Reported," Feni said.

" (Reported) To the Health Department?" asked the lawyer.

"To the Ministry of Health", replied Feni.

For information, in this case, Rizieq Shihab is accused of spreading false news or hoaxes that caused trouble. This false news related to his health condition was confirmed positive COVID-19 while in UMMI Hospital Bogor, West Java.

Rizieq Shihab was charged with Article 14 paragraph (1), paragraph (2), Article 15 of Law No. 1 of 1946 concerning The Regulation of Criminal Law and/or Article 14 paragraph (1), paragraph (2) of Law No. 4 of 1984 concerning Infectious Disease Outbreaks and/or Article 216 of the Criminal Code jo Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.
