JAKARTA - The aftermath of a underage hamiltonian lady Companion (LC), a Starmoon Bar nightclub in the Kota Indah area, Tamansari, West Jakarta, was sealed by the DKI Jakarta Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP).

Head of the Supervision and Control Division of the DKI Jakarta Satpol PP, Eko Saptono, said that the sealing was carried out through a cross-agency coordination process.

"Today's activities are in accordance with the applicable mechanism. Lastly, we held a coordination meeting at the Provincial Satpol PP involving related SKPD, including the Tourism and Creative Economy Office and Polda Metro Jaya," said Eko, quoted from ANTARA, Thursday, August 21, 2025.

Eko said the sealing was carried out based on a letter from the Polda Metro Jaya which was forwarded to the DKI Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf) and then transferred to the Satpol PP as field implementer.

The Starmoon Bar's operational permit has been permanently revoked by the Investment Service and One Stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP).

"We emphasize to the manager that they no longer carry out any activities at that location because it has been officially closed," he said.

Satpol PP also instructs officers at the city, sub-district and sub-district levels to carry out routine monitoring to ensure there are no further violations.

Meanwhile, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Tourism Industry, Iffan, confirmed that this case involved minors.

"One victim, 15 years old. The perpetrator has been arrested by the Polda Metro Jaya," he said.

Iffan said the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government would take firm steps against entertainment businesses that violate the law.

Joint supervision will be strengthened and the public is advised to report if they find similar activities.

"We hope this will be the last case. Don't let illegal activities like this happen in Jakarta. Residents can directly report through the JAKI application, Satpol PP or Disparekraf," said Iffan.

Previously, the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) urged the police to investigate the potential of another child who was used as a "ldy companion" (LC) in nightclubs in West Jakarta.

This follows the case of a minor with the initials SHM (15) who was employed as an LC at Bar Starmoon, West Jakarta until she was five months pregnant.

KPAI chairman Ai Maryati believes that there are more than one victim of minors in a similar case.

"I believe more than one (victim). If we want to see the trend of the situation that is almost the same. This is also homework for law enforcers," said Maryati when confirmed, Monday (11/8).

Although it does not deny that Jakarta is an entertainment center, including night entertainment, said Maryati, hiring minors until the child is pregnant is a criminal act, so it must be thoroughly investigated.

"Yes, it means that we cannot turn a blind eye to Jakarta, this is a center for entertainment, tourism, night entertainment, if I may mention it. But yes, we must comply with the rules. We must not employ children in the worst form of work, let alone criminally, there is sexual exploitation," said Maryati.
