JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that some areas of DKI Jakarta will experience rain on Thursday, August 21 morning.

A number of areas that are predicted to receive light rain in the morning include East Jakarta, South Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands.

This condition was announced by BMKG through the institution's official website on Instagram @infobmkg in Jakarta, Thursday.

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta is expected to be cloudy and West Jakarta is thick cloudy in the morning.

Moving on during the day, light rain continues to pour in East Jakarta and North Jakarta. Then Central Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are cloudy and West Jakarta are cloudy and South Jakarta is thick.

Then in the afternoon, thunderstorms are predicted to occur in East Jakarta and South Jakarta. For West Jakarta, it is predicted that moderate rain and Central Jakarta will have light rain.

Then the Thousand Islands are predicted to be cloudy and North Jakarta in light rain on Thursday afternoon.

Thunderstorms are expected to continue into the evening in the Thousand Islands, North Jakarta, West Jakarta and South Jakarta. Meanwhile, the rain is occurring in East Jakarta and Central Jakarta is expected to be cloudy.

Temperatures in DKI Jakarta are estimated to range from 24 to 30 degrees Celsius. BMKG also stated that wind speeds range from 1-10 kilometers (km) per hour.
