JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned Abram Elsajaya Barus as an expert staff of the Minister of Public Works for Economics and Investment today, August 19.
He will be questioned regarding allegations of corruption in procurement at the Mempawah Regency Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR).
"The investigation was carried out at the KPK's Red and White building," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in his statement, Tuesday, August 19.
Apart from Abram, the KPK also examined Ananto Sudrajad, who is a private employee. Budi has not yet detailed the material that will be explored from both of them but they were summoned in their capacity as witnesses.
"The KPK has scheduled an examination of witnesses suspected of corruption related to the procurement of goods and services at the Mempawah Regency Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR)," he said.
As previously reported, the KPK searched a number of locations to look for evidence of alleged corruption in West Kalimantan Province on Sunday, April 27. The exact position is reported in Mempawah Regency.
