Stepfather Molested Children In Matraman Threatened With 15 Years In Prison

JAKARTA - The PPA Unit of the East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim is still investigating the perpetrator of the molestation with the initials NAW which occurred in a house in the Pisangan Baru area, Matraman, East Jakarta.

"The victim was persuaded in exchange for Rp100.00 and threatened not to report," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Alfian Nurrizal when confirmed, Sunday, August 17, 2025.

From the results of the investigation, the police confiscated a number of evidences in the form of post-mortem results, victim's clothes, perpetrators' clothes, sarongs, and cellphones containing pornographic video recordings at the time of the incident.

"Currently, the perpetrators have been detained and are undergoing further investigation," he said.

Meanwhile, the victim has received psychological assistance.

"Our ranks will fully oversee the legal process against the perpetrators, as well as ensure that victims get proper protection and assistance," he said.

The perpetrator NAW is threatened with Article 76D in conjunction with Article 82 of Law no. 17 of 2016 concerning Child Protection, with a maximum imprisonment of 15 years.

Previously, it was reported that a teenager with the initials RA (14) became a victim of sexual abuse by a stepfather with the initials NAW.

The incident occurred inside the perpetrator's house in Pisangan Baru, Matraman, East Jakarta.

Parahnya, pelaku juga merekam aksi bejat yang dilakukannya itu menggunakan ponsel miliknya.

Namun apesnya, rekaman video itu berhasil diketahui oleh ibu kandung korban hingga akhirnya pelaku NAW berhasil ditangkap warga.

Worse, the perpetrator also recorded that the depraved act he was doing was using his cellphone.

However, unfortunately, the video recording was caught by the victim's biological mother until the NAW perpetrator was finally arrested by residents.
