The Third Time He Was Chosen As Secretary General Of PDIP, Is Hasto's Secret Still Megawati's Trust?

Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri has again inaugurated Hasto Kristiyanto as Secretary General (Secretary General) of the PDIP. The inauguration was held at the PDIP DPP office, Central Jakarta, Thursday, August 14.

Deputy Secretary General for PDIP Communication, Adian Napitupulu, said that the appointment of Hasto for the third time could not be separated from Megawati's assessment of Hasto's performance while serving as secretary general.

"Mrs. Mega's consideration means that she is considered qualified to be our secretary general in the next five years, her loyalty is tested," Adian told reporters at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Friday, August 15.

"The steps and performance are good, simple," he continued.

Hasto was again trusted as secretary general after being released from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) detention center for receiving amnesty from President Prabowo Subianto on August 1.

Previously, the PDIP DPP held its inaugural post-VI presidential meeting in Bali on Thursday, August 14. During the meeting, Hasto was re-elected as Secretary General of PDIP for the 2025-2030 period.

The news was confirmed by the Chairman of the PDIP DPP Andreas Hugo Pareira and Ganjar Pranowo. "Yes, that's right," Andreas told reporters, Thursday, August 14.

Ganjar added that the meeting also inaugurated the PDIP DPP board for the 2025'30 period.

"Yes, (Hasto was appointed Secretary General)" he said.
