Muba Police Chief AKBP God Parlasro Sinaga said his party received reports from the Sekayu Hospital and the victim, doctor Syahpri, directly.

Related to that, the team led by the Criminal Investigation Unit immediately carried out an investigation into the case.

His party is currently examining two witnesses. However, he could not confirm what article would be charged to the perpetrators because the investigation process was still ongoing.

The incident began when the patient's family was suspected of threatening and forcing dr. Syahpri took off his mask while examining the patient in the VIP ICU room at Sekayu Hospital.

According to dr. Syahpri, this action threatens his safety as a medical personnel and is against health protocols, because he has worked according to hospital Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
