Fujifilm Launches Mirrorless X-E5 Camera And Fujinon XF23mmF2.8 R WR Lens

The Fujifilm officially launched two new products on the X Series line: Fujifilm X-E5's digital mirrorless camera and Fujinon XF23mmF2.5 lens. Both devices combine compact body, advanced technology, and image-generating capabilities with high resolution, sharp details and accurate color reproduction, to meet the needs of modern photographers.

Fujifilm X-E5: Ringkas, Light, And Reliable In All Situations The X-E5 film is the latest model in the X series that prioritizes portability without sacrificing performance.

With a weight of only about 445 grams, this camera is equipped with a 40.2 megapixel resolution X-Trans CMOS 5 HR back-illuminated and a high-speed X-Processor 5 image processor. For the first time in the X-E series line, the X-E5 comes with 5-axis InBody Image Stabilization (IBIS), which is capable of providing compensation of up to 7.0 stops in the middle of the frame and 6.0 stops at the edge of the frame, facilitating sharp shooting even in minimal light conditions or while shooting without tripods.

The X-E5 design also highlights the quality of the material, with a precision-produced aluminum top plate, providing a fine metallic texture and a strong taste in its hands.

The Classic Display feature on viewfinder features minimally key information at the bottom of the frame, combined with intuitive dial settings and one-hand operation, so photographers can focus more on the creative process.

Along with the launch of X-E5, Fujifilm also introduced Fujinon XF23mmF2.8 R WR, the latest lens on the XF Lens line known for its high optical quality and color reproduction typical of Fujifilm.

With a focus length of 23 mm (equivalent to 35 mm in 35 mm) and a weight of only about 90 grams, this lens is one of the most concise in its class. Despite its small size, XF23mmF2.8 R WR has high resolution performance that is fully compatible with X-Trans CMOS 5 sensor HR 40.2 MP.

This lens is designed versatilely for various photography styles such as traveling, street photography, portrait & landscape mode, and tabletop photography. Armed with weather-resistant construction, this lens remains reliable in various conditions, including in drizzling weather and dusty areas.

Starting August 14, 2025, Fujifilm X-E5 is officially sold in Indonesia and can be ordered through a pre-order system. This camera is priced at Rp24,888 thousand for the body only variant, and Rp28,888 thousand for Kit packages and XF23mm Lens. The presence of X-E5 and XF23mmF2.8 R WR further strengthens Fujifilm's position as providers of photographic solutions that combine high-performance portability and performance, both for professional photographers and creative enthusiasts.
