The public prosecutor of the South Aceh District Attorney's Office (Kejari) demanded a sentence of 7 to 8 years in prison for four defendants smuggling Rohingya immigrants.
The demands were read out by the Public Prosecutor (JPU) Yunasrul, Ardiansyah and Day Vernanda Sirait during a trial at the Tapaktuan District Court, South Aceh Regency on Wednesday, August 13.
The four defendants were Faisal, Ruslan, Abizar, and Ilhamdi.
