JAKARTA - The Ministry of Immigration and Corrections (Kemenimipas) has revoked the passport of the suspect in the Chromebook corruption case, Jurist Tan, from the system.

The revocation of passports was carried out as an effort to find the whereabouts and repeat Jurist Tan to Indonesia.

"It was revoked according to the system," said Acting Director General of Immigration, Yuldi Yusman to VOI, Tuesday, August 12.

The revocation of Juris Tan's passport from the system has been carried out for a long time, precisely in early June 2024. In addition, the revocation is a follow-up to the request of the Attorney General's Office (AGO).

"Revocation of passports from the system starting on June 4, 2025," said Yuldi Yusman.

Jurist Tan is still being sought. Based on the information gathered, Jurist Tan is currently suspected of being in Australia.

The former Special Staff (Stafsus) of the Minister of Education and Technology, Nadiem Makarim, was officially named a fugitive or on the wanted list (DPO) of the Attorney General's Office.

Jurist Tan has been a fugitive for some time. Determination as a fugitive is also one of the conditions for issuing a red notice.

Apart from Jurist Tan, in this case the AGO has named three other suspects. They are IBAM (Ibrahim Arief) as a former technology consultant at the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Furthermore, SW (Sri Wahyuningsih) as Director of School Directors of Elementary Schools (SD) of the Directorate of Basic Education and Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2020 2020 2021 as well as the power of budget users within the Directorate of Elementary Schools in the 2020-2021 fiscal year.

Finally, MUL (Mulyatsyah) as Director of Junior High School (SMP) of the Directorate of Basic Education and Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2020 2021 as well as the power of budget users within the Directorate of Junior High School for the first fiscal year 20202021.
