JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government distributed social assistance to meet basic needs (PKD) in the form of Jakarta Elderly Cards (KLJ), Jakarta Disability Cards (KPDJ), and Jakarta Children's Cards (KAJ) to 56,351 new recipients.

The distribution was carried out through Bank Jakarta with details of 38,414 KLJ recipients, 4,489 KPDJ recipients, and 13,448 KAJ recipients spread across 5 administrative cities and the Thousand Islands Regency.

"Each recipient will receive IDR 350,000 per month, directly distributed to their respective accounts, with the distribution of ATM cards scheduled from August 8 to 31, 2025 in five administrative and Thousand Islands areas," Pramono said in his statement, Sunday, August 10.

In addition, Pramono also explained the benefits of the Jakarta Elderly Card which not only provides cash assistance, but also provides free access to Transjakarta and MRT services.

"Many don't know yet, taking Transjakarta and MRT is free for the Elderly Card holder. I invite everyone to take advantage of this facility. Including people with disabilities who now have special spaces in each Transjakarta fleet," he explained.

Continuing, President Director of Bank Jakarta Agus H. Widodo explained that PKD social assistance recipients can access and manage social assistance funds through the JakOne Mobile digital banking application.

With this application, beneficiaries can make non-cash transactions, check aid balances, and enjoy other financial services.

"Through the integration of digital services, we want to ensure that social assistance can be accessed more efficiently and safely," said Agus.
