Prabowo Praises Many ITB Graduates In The Red And White Cabinet

BANDUNG - President Prabowo Subianto had warned him because many ministers, heads of institutions in the Red and White Cabinet to the president director of SOEs graduated from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).

The moment occurred when President Prabowo delivered his remarks and read out the list of ministers who were present at the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology and Industry Convention (KSTI) at the Gedung Sasana Budaya Ganesa (Sabuga) ITB, Bandung, West Java, Thursday 7 August.

'Minister and at the ministerial level who attended. I read all of them, because this is important, this is our culture. It didn't come all the way. It's okay, right? I'm not limited in time? Who knows ITB right?' Prabowo said jokingly which was greeted by applause from the audience, quoted from ANTARA.

In his remarks when he read out the names of the ministers present, President Prabowo realized that apart from the Minister of Education, Science and Technology Brian Yuliarto, who is a researcher at ITB, many members of the Red and White Cabinet who are also ITB graduates.

The ministers include the Minister of Manpower Yassierli, Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Amalia Adininggar.

Apart from ministers, there were also a number of SOE president directors who attended and graduated from ITB, namely the President Director of PT Pertamina Simon Aloysius Mantiri, President Director of PT Pindad Sigit P Santosa, and President Director of PT Dirgantara Indonesia Gita Amperiawan.

"The Minister of Manpower Prof Yassierli, ITB seems to be a lot. There are a lot of ITBs. Head of the Central Statistics Agency, Brother Amalia Adininggar, IPB? ITB? This is ITB again. Who is preparing this cabinet?" Prabowo said with a laugh.

The other ministers who attended KSTI 2025 were Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan P Roeslani, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Minister of Bappenas Rachmat Pambudy, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono.

Then, Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Meutya Hafid, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Head of the National Nutrition Agency Dadan Hindayana, Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency Laksana Tri Handoko, Deputy Minister of Komdigi Angga Raka Prabowo, and Deputy Minister of Education and Technology Stella Christie.

KSTI 2025, which carries the theme "Economic Growth and Equity Through Control of Science and Technology", has become a national and international strategic forum.
