Overcoming The Increase In Rice Prices, Bulog Asked To Disburse 1.3 Million Tons Of Rice To The Market

JAKARTA - The disclosure of cases of mixed rice circulation has attracted the attention of the government to overcome this. A number of brands with premium rice labels but do not meet the quality standards set by the government, have been dealt with and are being investigated further by the National Police's Food Task Force.

Head of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) Hasan Nasbi revealed that this was in accordance with the direction of President Prabowo Subianto.

To reporters, Thursday, August 7, Hasan Nasbi also expressed President Prabowo's direction to overcome the increase in rice prices in the market.

The government has ordered Bulog to disburse rice to the 1.3 million tonnes market in the food price supply stabilization program, from August to September.
