Investigate Chromebook Corruption Case, AGO Examines Former GO-JEK Director To President Director Of PT Acer Indonesia

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has again examined the former Director of PT Aplikasi Karya Anak Bangsa (Gojek), Andre Soelistyo, in handling cases of alleged corruption in the procurement of Chromebooks at the Ministry of Education and Culture for the 2019-2022 period.

Andre Soelistyo was previously examined as a witness in a similar case last July.

"(Investigating) AS as Director of PT Aplikasi Karya Anak Bangsa in 2020," said Head of the AGO, Anang Supriatna, in his statement, Thursday, August 7.

Apart from Andre Soelistyo, investigators also examined five other witnesses. Two of them RCG as Vice President of Accounting and Consolidation of PT GoTO Gojek Tokopedia, Tbk and KBA who are Benefit Leaders of PT Go-Jek Indonesia.

Then, AS as Director of PT Complus Solution System; HD from PT Samafitro; and MA as Director of PT Tixpro Informatics Megah in 2020.

In fact, there is also the President Director of PT Acer Indonesia with the initials LN and RG who is the Production Director of PT Acer Indonesia.

So far, no details have been conveyed regarding the examination material of the witnesses. It is only stated that the process of taking the information took place on August 6.

"The witness examination was carried out to strengthen the evidence and complete the filing in the case," said Anang.

In handling this alleged corruption case, the AGO named four suspects. They are JT (Jurist Tan) as the Special Staff (Stafsus) of the Minister of Education and Culture for the period 2020-2024 and IBAM (Ibrahim Arief) as a former technology consultant at the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Furthermore, SW (Sri Wahyuningsih) as Director of School Directors of Elementary Schools (SD) of the Directorate of Basic Education and Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2020 2020 2021 as well as the power of budget users within the Directorate of Elementary Schools in the 2020-2021 fiscal year.

Finally, MUL (Mulyatsyah) as Director of Junior High School (SMP) of the Directorate of Basic Education and Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2020 2021 as well as the power of budget users within the Directorate of Junior High School for the first fiscal year 20202021.

The four suspects are suspected of violating Article 2 paragraph 1 and Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2021 concerning Corruption Crimes, in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
