KEDIRI - The Class II Immigration Office of Non-TPI Kediri, East Java, deported a foreign national (WNA) from Pakistan, AB (24) for violating the rules regarding visas.

Head of the Kediri Non-TPI Class II Immigration Office, Antonius Frizky Saniscara Cahya Putra, said AB was repatriated to his home country, Pakistan. He has violated the rules regarding visas, by exceeding the residence permit.

He explained that AB was escorted by officers by plane using Thai Airways with flight number TG434 on the Jakarta-Bangkok route and continued with the same airline, Thai Airways with flight number TG345 with the Bangkok-Lahore route.

"The deportation process against AB went smoothly with the escort of officers from the Kediri Immigration Office while still observing the applicable standard operating procedures (SOP)," he said.

It is known that AB was caught in the Wirawas Immigration Supervision Operation in 2025 which took place from 15-16 July 2025.

The operation targeted various places in the Kediri Immigration area, namely Kediri City, Kediri Regency, Nganjuk Regency and Jombang Regency.

He explained that AB entered Indonesian territory through Soekarno-Hatta Airport on March 11, 2025, using a visit visa with the aim of tourist visits and having a stay of 60 days.

In the regulation, his residence permit can be extended with a stay of less than 180 days.

AB is known to have an initial purpose of traveling and has visited several regions in Indonesia and then ended up in an English course institution in Pare District, Kediri Regency.
