JAKARTA - The Chairperson of the PDI-P, Megawati Soekarnoputri, cried when she met Hasto Kristiyanto who had been released after receiving amnesty from President Prabowo Subianto.

The moment of emotion began when Megawati was delivering her political speech at the close of the PDIP Congress to Nusa Dua, Bali. Then, suddenly Hasto entered the congress room, his arrival was greeted with applause from all PDI-P cadres.

Then, Megawati immediately stopped her political speech. Hasto appeared to go straight to his general chairman who was on stage. In front of Megawati, the PDIP secretary general was seen lowering his head and body as if showing respect.

Hasto Kristiyanto officially left the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Detention Center tonight. He breathed free air after receiving amnesty from President Prabowo Subianto.

From observations in the field, Hasto was seen coming out of the KPK detention center at around 21.24 WIB. His face was happy and tightened his hands. He was seen wearing a red shirt with a black jacket. Hasto also brought a backpack.
