BOGOR Bogor Regency Government through the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), together with the Social and Garnisun Service, held community disease operations (Pekat) in the Cibinong District, Wednesday, July 30. This activity is a response to public reports related to unrest against prostitution practices that are troubling the environment.
Secretary of the Bogor Regency Satpol PP, Anwar Anggana, explained that this operation was part of efforts to enforce regional regulations (Perda) and maintain order and morality in the community.
"This operation targets boarding houses and karaoke places that are suspected of being the locations for online prostitution in the Cibinong area," Anwar said in his statement, Thursday, July 31.
During the raid, officers arrested six women suspected of being commercial sex workers and one man suspected of being service users.
The seven people were immediately taken to the Bogor Regency Satpol PP office for further data collection and examination by the Social Service.
