Puslabfor Polri Checks Taman Puring Market After The Fire

JAKARTA - The National Police Criminal Investigation Unit Forensic Laboratory Center (Puslabfor) team checked the scene of the fire at Taman Puring Market, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Wednesday, July 30, 2025.

"To check the crime scene, the Park Puring fire from Puslabfor was carried out at 10 am. The team moved from Sentul to the crime scene," said Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Murohi to reporters.

The Puslabfor team visited the Taman Puring Market at 11.51 WIB.

They wore navy blue clothes that read "Puslabfor" by surrounding a number of post-fire spots in the market.

Previously, on Wednesday morning, the fire appeared to be still burning at a number of locations where the Taman Puring Market fire was, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta on the third day since the fire, Monday, July 28, 2025.

Previously, DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung promised to repair the Taman Puring Market, Kebayoran Baru, after it caught fire.

A total of 552 kiosks and items in the market were burned down in the 1500 square meter (m2) area.

The cause of the fire is suspected to be an electrical short circuit from one of the closed used clothing stores.

There were no casualties, but an estimated total loss from the fire reached Rp30 billion.
