Lack Of Socialization, PSI Called Many Jakartans Do Not Understand Using SIKM

JAKARTA - The permit for entry and exit (SIKM) is officially valid as a condition of travel during this year's Eid homecoming elimination period, from May 6 to 17.

However, the Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI) faction of the Regional House of Representatives of DKI Jakarta said that there were still many residents who did not understand the provisions and procedures for using SIKM due to the lack of socialization.

"There are still many who are confused, SIKM is only for reverse flow when they want to enter Jakarta, or from the beginning, they have already held SIKM to leave Jakarta, this must be explained to the public", said a member of PSI faction August Hamonangan in his statement, Friday, May 7.

August regretted that the regulation was published two days before it came into effect without adequate socialization. He said the short time for socialization would only make it difficult for field officers who were forced to face the tantrums of residents who did not know the new rules.

"Not to mention that the processing of the letter requires several certificates from several parties. You can imagine that currently the RT/RW (Citizens Association), Health center, and offices are overwhelmed because they are being chased to make a certificate for the management of SIKM", said August.

Supposedly, said August, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and his staff should have carried out massive socialization to residents long ago. Involve all parties from RT / RW, Health center that issue health certificates, offices to the local COVID-19 Task Force.

Then, the capacity of the JakEvo site, which is used as a registration platform for SIKM, must be upgraded. So, you can be sure that access is not interrupted when many people use it at the same time.

"Do not let the site become inaccessible because it is overloaded, and this is an excuse for residents not to take care of SIKM", he said.
