Many Still 'trick' Officers At Night, 386 Vehicles Are Turned Around

JAKARTA - The police reveal that there are still many people who are trying to trick the officers so they can go home for Eid 2021. Namely by traveling at night to avoid officers.

Unfortunately their action did not go smoothly as expected. Their actions are still being monitored by officers on duty. Where based on the insulating data on the ban on going home, 386 vehicles were turned around, on Thursday, May 6, at 23.59 WIB

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said, with the addition of the action, a total of 1,456 vehicles were involved and were interested in making a U-turn.

"The total number of vehicles turned back is 1,456 with details of 1,224 private vehicles and 232 public vehicles," Yusri told reporters, Friday, May 7.

The number of vehicles is the enforcement at two points of isolation, namely, the Cikupa toll gate (GT) and the West Cikarang GT.

There were 828 vehicles turned back in the Cikupa GT. With details, 709 private vehicles and 119 public vehicles.

"GT Cikarang Barat, the vehicles that were prosecuted were 628. There were 515 private vehicles and 113 public vehicles," he said.

Previously, 1,070 vehicles were asked to make a U-turn from 00.00 to 12.00 WIB on Thursday, May 6. This number is likely to increase because this isolation operation lasts for 12 days.

For details, the thousands of vehicles consist of 895 private vehicles and 175 public vehicles. The drivers were prosecuted from the Cikupa and West Cikarang Toll Gates.

"With the details for the Cikupa GT there are 626 vehicles. For private vehicles there are 519 and 77 public vehicles. For West Cikarang GT there are 444 vehicles. 346 private vehicles and 98 public vehicles. These are still running because 24 hours are still moving," said Yusri.

In this homecoming prohibition operation, at least 4,276 personnel were deployed. They are alerted at 14 isolation points and 17 check points or check points.
