Former Komdigi Employee Defendant Judi Online Sued 7-9 Years In Prison

JAKARTA - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) has demanded former employees of the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) in the alleged corruption case of protecting online gambling sites (judols) in the form of imprisonment for seven to nine years.

"The defendant IDeden Imadudin Soleh has been sentenced to prison for nine years minus the detention period and a fine of Rp. 1 billion," said Pompy Polansky prosecutor Alanda during a trial at the South Jakarta District Court, Wednesday, July 23, as reported by ANTARA.

The prosecutor considered the defendant guilty of committing a criminal act intentionally and without the right to distribute, transmit, and/or make accessible electronic information and/or electronic documents that have gambling content.

Then, other defendants such as Riko Rasota Rahmada, Syamsul Arifin, and Fakhri Dzulfiqar were charged with imprisonment for eight years and six months and a fine of Rp. 500 million.

Furthermore, the defendants Yudha Rahman Setiadi and Yoga Priyanka Sihombing, they were sentenced to prison for seven years and six months and a fine of Rp250 million.

"The defendants Reyga Radika, Muhammad Abindra Putra Tayip N, and Radyka Prima Wicaksana were sentenced to seven years in prison and a fine of Rp250 million," he added.

There are four clusters in the Komdigi judol case, namely the first cluster being the coordinator, with the defendant Adhi Kismanto, Zulkarnaen Apriliantony alias Tony, Muhrijan alias Agus, and Arwin Jabarti Kiemas.

The second cluster is a former Kominfo employee, namely Denden Imadudin Soleh, Fakhri Dzulfiqar, Riko Rasota Rahmada, Syamsul Arifin, Yudha Rahman Setiadi, Yoga Priyanka Sihombing, Reyga Radika, Muhammad Abindra Putra Tayip N, and Radyka Prima Wicaksana.

The third cluster of judol site agents, with the defendants including Muchlis, Deny Maryono, Harry Efendy, Helmi Fernando, Bernard alias Otoy, Budianto Salim, Bennihardi, and Ferry alias William alias Acai.

As well as the fourth cluster, namely the crime of theft of money (TPPU) Darmawati and Adriana Angela Brigita.
