Police Personnel Who Pass The Homecoming Will Be Harshly Punished Until Dismissal

DENPASAR - The Head of the Jembarana Police, AKBP I Ketut Adi Wibawa emphasized that he would impose strict sanctions on police police personnel who deliberately let homecomers pass at Gilimanuk Port, Bali.

"We are acting firmly. We are not playing games and that is a direct instruction from the President," said AKBP Wibawa, Thursday, May 6.

Increase the heaviest sanctions that can lead to dismissal if criminal acts are found.

"We will see if there are penalties (fired). If it is, it is only a disciplinary violation that we will carry out internally," he said.

Meanwhile, Dirlantas Polda Bali Kombes Indra also emphasized that all passengers who had not completed their travel documents before the homecoming ban had been directed to be reversed.

"We also check all the completeness of passenger documents, for those that do not exist (COVID-19 free letters), antigen is carried out at the terminal, if the result is negative, then they are allowed to leave," he confirmed separately.

Indra also warned about strict sanctions for officers who neglect or deliberately pass people without travel documents and violate the rules on the prohibition of going home.

"We will continue to carry out inspections of all vehicles and people at the blocking posts. For those who do not carry negative letters of COVID-19 and SIKM, we will turn back," he said.

"If there are officers from any institution who deliberately let people travel without complete conditions, they will be dealt with firmly," continued Kombes Indra.
